The Lodge has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness center, gymnasium, birthday parties, meeting rooms available for many different events. Lots of parking and seating for adults. Stu 9 views. It has a nicely paved 1 mile loop running trail (not perfectly flat, but nothing crazy) and a couple nice playgrounds for the kids. Paths and a pond for walking around and exploring; trees for climbing, this is a great park!This park is a West County gem, nestled in the heart of the county and easy accessible from all over.Des Peres Park is a nice little paradise nuzzled right in the heart of the county. Lake for fishing and great parking. I didn't realize how big and pretty it was, despite having driven by many times.

According to the little map I looked over, there seems to be plenty of trail worth walking or running! As a resident of Des Peres, I have frequented Des Peres City Park. Every time I have been there I haven't had to wait for courts either. Could not ask for more.The best park around, has great walking passes, wonderful playgrounds (2) for children. Very beautiful grounds for an afternoon walk, playing with your dog, or just a quick relaxing getaway from work in the afternoon. The nice thing is you can't hear the traffic on Manchester. Des Peres Park.
The playground for the older kids even has a rock climbing wall. I could let him play pretty independently, which is rare. The trail around the park is only a little over a mile, so it takes a few loops to get in a good workout - but it's peaceful and empty most of the times I have gone here (except for the playgrounds).I love this park!! I highly recommend Des Peres Park!Beautiful walk around the lake. It's nice to walk around or to sit back and just take in the surroundings. We took the girls this evening as they had a free concert.
