Over 32 pages the first chains itself to 14 paragraphs, whereas over the 23 of the latter tale only three are used, which is seriously irritating.Good use of words to narrate. Great stuff.Thoroughly appeals to lovers of absurd nihilism - this is a real treat! '"The End" provides a chaotic mixture of sensations beyond the boundaries of language. Some paragraphs sounded poems. Well when the ratings of the book is pretty low but you loved it nonetheless. Where 'The End' deals with an elderly vagrant's journey towards death, 'The Calmative' deals with another elderly vagrant's (possibly the same one, who know?
