This is going so nicely since I looked at it last. If you didn't know the original, you wouldn’t recognize this one is a remake.
[Issue#251] Abe is as cute as it gets.
If youI was pleasantly surprised with this version. You ARE a god to me.Hmm what engine are you using again? Compared to the original game I have to say the movement was better in the old one because it was faster and instant, but not as realistic as in the new one. Generally favorable reviews Dude do you have anything at all in mind for who/what you're going to use to do the programming for the actual game?
A remake titled Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty! Maybe he was just tortured until he lost consciousness.Actually unity isn't using C++. Just Add Water Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee New 'n' Tasty - E3 2013 Trailer The environment, the characters, the storyline, the struggles. XboxOne [March 2015] Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is as much a piece of art as it is a just a thoroughly fantastic puzzle platformer. That being said, "Oddworld: Soulstorm" will feature a modern take on the PlayStation original and will be a full ground-up remake. The "Abe's Exoddus" remake will be a direct follow-up in terms of story to "Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty," which, in turn, is a remake of the original 1997 hit "Abe's Oddysee." If you wanna kill some time and relax, this might be worth checking.
Sadly, I don't know Lightwave, but I have a fair knowledge of the Source SDK (half life 2 mapping engine)so level designer and environment artist... thats me thenCan you PM me some of the code that you already have by Tria, I will take a whack at it so long as it's C++, no promises for something amazing but...I will take a look.Oh yeah, fair point.
Run, don’t walk. Maybe he was just tortured until he lost consciousness. But there is script reference (all unity code functions) on unity website, so you don't need to have all knowledge in your head Oh yeah, fair point. Abe's Oddysee begins with the eponymous protagonist as a prisoner in RuptureFarms, from which he narrates his story. Reboot status: epic.I was pleasantly surprised with this version. The Shadow of Violence Sly-looking puzzle platformer that has lot to say even eighteen years after the first release. I'm glad they kept a difficulty original to the Abe's Oddysee, something for those who are familiar with the game.
This 12-year-old re-heat has long passed it's sell-by date. Being able to relive those memories on the new systems with updated graphics is a dream come true.
